Hydrangea macrophylla, commonly known as just Hydrangea, is the flower of gratitude, heartfelt emotions, and vanity. This is the inspiration behind the gown, which was created with a natural hand-dyed hemp/silk blend. The gown is a one-shoulder princess-seam bodice with a seven-gore skirt. The most prominent feature within the gown is the pieced flowers cascading around the bodice and onto the skirt.
